Publisher's Description:

Bulk Image Downloader - Bulk Image Downloader automatically downloads and saves images and videos from thumbnailed web galleries, bypassing all annoying popups and adverts. It can also extract image information from regular text files (such as saved html pages or plain text files containing links) and web pages where image links are listed as plain text. Almost all popular image hosting sites are supported and it's built in image location technology can locate the full sized image in most web pages no matter what the layout or redirection methods used.

Original image filenames are extracted where possible, but an option to generate sequential filenames is available for those image hosts that scramble the filenames.

It integrates with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Opera via the right click context menu for even easier downloading.

Download thumbnail gallery images interactively or send them to the Queue Manager and have them all downloaded automatically one gallery at a time. Images that fail to download within a batch are automatically saved to new "retry" batches that can easily be requeued for download.

Use the BID Link Explorer to quickly extract multiple gallery links from gallery "index" pages (pages listing multiple galleries) and quickly queue them for download.

Most popular image hosts are supported, including flickr, imagevenue, imagefap, imagereverb, imagebam, imageshack, and too many others too list here.

BID also supports video downloading from the following video sites:

* YouTube (with HD download support)

* Google Video

* DailyMotion (with HD download support)

* MetaCafe

* MegaVideo (with HD download support)

* YouPorn

* PornHub

* RedTube

* Tube8

* MegaPorn

* MovieFap

* Motherless

Hello,

How are you?

Thanks for the quick evaluation on your product. I truthfully won't say that I gave your product a 100% test - but I found it not to be as inturative as EG PicaLoader which I've bought. I.E. I had the pictures loaded in your viewing pane / area but was uncertain as to whether these were downloaded or simply found only.

I also found the preferences like the picture size to be easier customized for indervidual preferences. (EG: I tell a profile to have XZY characteristics and many profiles are available.) Something that influenced my decision was ease in cueing multiple downloads from different sites with multiple preferences.

I liked the preview pane / concept down the bottom, but find myself more attracted to the URL links and where they are going rather then what it was downloading - if it fitted my earlier specified preference/s per cued task.

I may review your product around the end of the year and have some time to really put them both through the same tests to confirm differences.

Your product has promise - keep up the good work.

Jeff.

I thought that it might work for something like KodakGallery but it didn't so I un-installed it.

A "little ripper" of a software product

We Ozzies sometimes call something that is very good "a little ripper".
While the term in the title could be suggestive of an MP3 creation process, the overall analogy is not a bad one, even though you are downloading lots of pictorial images. You insert the URL, check a few settings and the software rips the images from a given page to your hard drive. Couldn't be easier! Great value for the money - a discounted price appeared after I had made the decision to buy at list - another bonus. I'm telling all my friends.

Great Program ... One Suggestion

Great program ... it can download all the stuff other downloaders can't. One suggestion: On the thumbnail/image info panel, could you put the image size info where the image info appears? That would be helpful.

Give your fingers a break! Grab pix easy way!

Give your poor, tired fingers a rest! Let Bulk Image Downloader free you from the tedious task of clicking thumbnails and then saving the full size image to your hard drive. Not only does it reduce carpel tunnel syndrome, but it is very FAST and EASY to grab an entire gallery of pics with a single click.

This software is amazing and trouble-free. You can customize how you want the files named and it will even rename files automatically, something essential when you have 100 galleries using names like 1.jpg.

An essential utility for the modern man.

best software I`ve seen in quite some time!

Bulk Image Downloader is the BEST piece of software that I've seen in years!!! I am an artist, and I get a lot of reference material from the web, and Bulk Image Downloader gets the pics that NO OTHER SOFTWARE that I've tried can get and I've tried SWEVERAL of the so-called "best" and they don't do what Bulk Image Downloader can do!!! So, I can get the reference photos to work from to do my art much easier! If you download any photos from the web, Bulk Image Downloader is the software you need!
